How can life coaching help me?
If you feel low, bored, fed up or generally stuck in a rut, but you are not ill enough to warrant a doctor's visit, you may be finding it very hard to motivate yourself or discover a zest for life or the right direction to take, and yet not know who to turn to.  In such cases, talking to someone willing to listen to you and offer helpful advice can be just what you need.  In particular, I can help you focus on what you want from life, identify achievable goals and make sure you reach them.

How do I find the right life coach to work with?

This is the idea behind the free trial.  If you find that a half-hour chat makes you feel more confident and eager to start working with me, you can then book one or more sessions.  If not, you are free to find a different coach without wasting any money.

What topics do you cover?

We can look at any issues of concern to you.  In particular, you may want to discuss your career, your health, family or other close relationships, your personal development in terms of your emotional or intellectual needs, your finances, leisure time, social life or physical environment.

What do I need to do to prepare myself for coaching?

Nothing is required, but it may help if you think about those parts of you life that are giving you most cause for concern.  It may save time if you can identify specific issues that we can address, although we will explore your whole life together to make sure we are not missing anything.  We will also try to ensure that the various aspects of your life are in balance.

How long does coaching normally last?

You may find that one session sets you in the right direction, but most people prefer to spend a few weeks considering issues in depth.  You can either book one session at a time or take advantage of the special rates for blocks of five sessions.  You can also e-mail me with specific queries during our time working together.

Am I too old for life coaching to be of any help?

The aim of life coaching is to help you enjoy your life and find it more rewarding, fulfilling and fun than you do at the moment.  I don't think anyone can be too old to have that as their ultimate goal!
